The Pork Rind Heritage Festival began in 1989 during the Village of Harrod, Ohio Centennial celebration. As the first year of the festival was started to celebrate the village it then was turned into an annual celebration with the support of Rudolph Foods as a corporate sponsor. Each year the festival has grown into a bigger and better celebration. Parking is free and is located throughout town at various locations marked by parking signs.
